SiteGround vs Godaddy: which one you don’t have to choose ever
SiteGround and Godaddy are both the Major Runners in the Web Hosting World. But few Years Back i was in major Dilemma about Which Web Host to Choose like SiteGround vs Godaddy. I was just a Beginner at that time in the Blogging World and choosing a webhost took much of time. Yet I Have choosen Godaddy because they were Offering a Cheaper Coupon which after a year Costed me a Lot and I found it as my Mistake to choose Godaddy Webhosting. I am not anti-Godaddy but what i found later is what I am telling you write here.
The two SiteGround and Godaddy web hosts both provide a cPanel as your interface along with the ability to host unlimited websites with their high level plans. There are advantages with certain features depending on which host you choose. For example, GoDaddy provides unlimited disk space(Just a tempting one) while SiteGround’s Disk Space is metered. However, SiteGround offers Unlimited Emails and GoDaddy caps your email storage.
SiteGround is the only host listed on all 3 CMS i.e. WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal recommended hosting pages
Currently, I’m on SiteGround’s Web hosting plan and have .2s load times in Pingdom and .5s in GTmetrix. Godaddy still uses outdated technology like PHP 7.1 (not PHP 7.3) making their servers slow.
I have Used more than 6 Webhosts in My Hosting Career. So I would Probably Suggest you a better than the Best Options available.
On Godaddy my websites had gone down for no reason while loading slow in Pingdom + GTmetrix.Sometimes I have Error 501,Error 502,Error 520,etc. They suggested an upgrade to their managed WordPress hosting which I did, but within a few days it was just as slow as before with a 5s load time.

SiteGround vs Godaddy: The Pros
Godaddy Pros· Cheaper but unethical · Decent for starter websites · Support team based in Arizona · Support is good no matter your plan · Unlimited bandwidth for traffic spikes but when you cross 15 users in real time then you come to know the reality.Your site will suddenly come down and godaddy’s RAM, I/O Usage and other hidden things will get slow down as like if stopped and that’s the reality. · Largest domain registrar on internet
|
SiteGround Pros· Servers are much faster · Better uptime technology · Actively involved in WordCamps · Respected in WordPress community · Priority support is best in the industry · Good for people who do their research · Amazing security with ongoing updates · Access to cPanel demo before buying · They Provide Free Migration.
|
SiteGround vs Godaddy: The Cons
Godaddy Cons
· Site speed not always reliable · No live chat support, just help forum · Custom hosting panel can be confusing · Shared plans can only host up to 5 sites · Unethical policies for internet freedom · SEO add-on won’t do anything at all · Not favored in WordPress community
|
SiteGround Cons
· Pricing, they usually update and lowers it. · Limited CPU usage can cause website to get shut down temporary, but can often easily be fixed by removing bad plugins or enabling Cloudflare+ WordPress Heartbeat Control, which they provide free of cost. · Limited disk space can be caused by hosting too many images, plugins, or any files (OK for most websites though)

SiteGround vs Godaddy: Migration
SiteGround Provides a totally free Migration. In this Case Godaddy Charges a handsome amount of Money to Migrate/ trasferring your website from a server of other Hosting Company to another. I found SiteGround the One and only one Hosting Company to Provide Free Migration.
SiteGround vs Godaddy:Server
Siteground wins over here. You can check up the server speed on Google Page Speed Insights and if the reduce server response time item is in your report, this means your server (hosting) is definitely slow…
SiteGround vs Godaddy: Uptime and Pageload Speed
You can call me Biased, but don’t forget that what I am Providing over here is full of 8 years of Blogging Experience and it is up to you to believe me.
The SiteGround’s Pageload Time is always below 800ms which you can never ever find in any damn hosting. I cannot tell you about Pageload time of Godaddy over here cause they are too Slow.

SiteGround vs Godaddy: Customer Support
They are both just awesome about their customer support. They are both always online for their customers, whether day or night. But what the main difference about both of them is:
Siteground do not provide callling facility whereas in Godaddy you can call them and can talk.Whereas in Siteground they provide Live chat.
But here also i found that while Contacting Siteground they came live within an average of 10 seconds, whereas with Godaddy you have to wait an average of 2 Minutes and more.
In SiteGround, I Found them more helpful than Godaddy. They have much more solutions than Godaddy. Godaddy Support is lack in Technical Support which is the Main Need for any Customer.
SiteGround vs Godaddy: Security and SSL
I have previously told you that it is the best part of Siteground i like the most. They Provide you a free SSL, If I describe you the Value of SSL then I would say it connects the user to an Secure Platform where they can share any Private info. like Credit Cards and So on.
SSL makes Google and other Search Engine to Rank first and give it the most Possible Preference over non-SSL Website.
So with free SSL your website can have a Greater Chance to get Massive Traffic and Provide a win-win situation in a very short time.
SiteGround vs Godaddy: The Winner
There is no doubt about the winner i.e. Sitegound Web host. Your views may be different over here and I Agree with that, but I Must say that this Article is equal to an Overall Blogging Experience of more than 8 years. I have done a whole lot of things like WP Design, SEO, Jhoomla design, Drupal Design, Blogspot is rather whether one of the simplest thing i have done ever, with a no. of Hosting Companies like Bluehost, Godaddy, HostGator, InMotion Hosting, 1&1 Hosting,WP Engine,SiteGround obviously, etc. and after Straining the whole thing, I Found SiteGround as the best,Fastest,Reliable,Cheaper, with best Security Feature. They also Provides Free Migration of Website.
